The insole is lightly padded and while it doesn’t offer a ton of support, it is still comfortable. If you have a larger foot I would recommend going with the woven leather over the solid leather because I feel like the woven leather is more flexible and will loosen up a little more over time. The Isla Slide comes in this woven leather and solid leather option. The toe area is also pointed which makes them feel more narrow as well. The footbed is very narrow so if you have wide feet you might feel like your feet are spilling over the sides.
I do think these slides are best if you have narrow feet. If I had taken the 8.5 they wouldn’t have been long enough for my feet. My All Weather Boots from Nisolo happen to be an 8.5 but I went with the size suggestion on the website to take my larger size in the Isla Slides and I think they fit perfectly. I’m either an 8.5 or an 9 in shoes and my feet are thin and narrow. Like I said, I can literally wear these with ANY of my summer pieces. If you couldn’t tell, I love these slides!
